GOALS / OBJECTIVES
- A fun career: Let's have fun and make art together! I'm proud to say that I've been doing this all my life since my high school days. I'm so thankful to have made this my full time job and career and have thrived in what has historically (and still is currently) an over saturated market and highly competitive field.
- Networking + Connection: My shoots should feel both professional but also like we're hanging out and having a good time. My hope is everyone involved has fun and wants to shoot again asap. If you deep dive my portfolios you'll see lots of repeat faces. I have always said that the best part about photographing faces and feet, is not the faces and feet, but the people you get to meet!
- Being outside: One thing about being a life long city kid is I seldom enjoy being at home. Photography is one of those things that inspires you to go outside and the PNW just happens to have some of the best local scenery and people around. I've shot all over from Smith Rock to Seaside, from Eugene to Portland, and also from Vancouver to Blaine Washington. No distance is too far for me and I love meeting people anywhere and anytime. If you are someone who likes being outside, we'll likely get a long just fine.
- Creative freedom and independence: one of the best things about being a content creator is you get to captain your own ship and steer it in any direction you choose. I created my own platform stephanpartipilo.net that serves as my personal digital fine art gallery. People all over the world pay to view my works and this is how I earn a living from my craft. Check it out! Over 500+ works and counting.
MODEL SAFETY
- Never come alone! Bring a parent, bring your bf, bring your husband, bring whoever. Just make sure everyone knows all the details about everything so nobody is surprised by anything.
- It's highly recommended to use a different name (alias), or only first name.
- Almost all photographers have models sign contracts or release forms before a shoot. Not me. I have models sign AFTER a shoot and never beforehand. That way if the shoot doesn't go how you like, you're not contractually bound to anything.
PHOTOSHOOT
- Where: there are infinite locations I love shooting at. Depending on what general area you live in, I'll likely konw (or can find) several options for us to choose from. Some of my favorite locations closest to my area in Portland include: Peninsula Park's rose gardens, Columbia park's tall trees that the golden hour lighting shines through, and of course my personal creative space and home studio. Contact and we can determine the best location for us.
- What: my photography style combines creative portraits with artistic, age-appropriate bare feet imagery, which has always been a signature element of my portfolios and collages. While Iβm incredibly grateful for the trusted professional relationships Iβve built with families and agencies, I completely respect that everyone has different preferences. If this specific artistic direction doesnβt align with your boundaries, I completely understand and wish you the very best in finding the perfect photographer for your needs.
- When: The best time to shoot is in the evening with golden hour lighting on a sunny day. Mid-day or early afternoon works if the weather is super cloudy and over cast.
- If we're shooting in studio, the absolute best time of day, regardless of weather, is between 11 am to 1 pm.
MODEL CALL / CASTING INFO

- Clean matching nails. Deep clean natural nude nails, matte satin white, milky nails, small fine french tips. Absolutely no long fake acrylic gel nails. Long slender fingers and toes preferred.
- Hair and make up should appear more natural. Less is more.
- Outfits should be clean, appropriate, solid colors, and seasonal.
- I also look for good attitudes in everyone I work with.
TALENT BOOKING / HOW TO SCHEDULE
- Shoot me a text or email.
- If we've never worked together before, we'll have a brief video call meeting. I want to make sure everyone is okay with everything. I can also answer any questions and will be easier to make plans.
