My photoshoot featuring Katrina Beiro was recently published in Hollyway Magazine by Jenny Hollyway in Tokyo, Japan! It includes a brief interview with Katrina's actual answers/responses. Katrina also did her own hair and makeup. All jewelry shown is from her own personal collection. The blazer, vest, and pants are from the brand MANGO of Macy's.
We did this photoshoot at my personal creative space in Portland, Oregon with a Savage thunder grey background from BHPhoto! I used predominantly a 50mm and 70-200mm lenses on my Sony A7CR camera. The lighting was via several ProFoto off-camera flashes with umbrella reflectors (my personal favorite lighting modifier). Normally, I find umbrellas outdoors to be impractical because of wind. Indoor studio is perfect for umbrellas and various larger light modifiers.
This was during the winter time when it was freezing cold outside. Shooting inside my personal creative space allowed us to make use of my various industrial heaters, so the talent would not be very cold. The use of ProFoto off-camera flashes with light modifiers enabled consistent lighting through out the session.
