I've told this story dozens of times to dozens of people by now : I never "know" if a photoshoot is going to "do well" or anything. I just take the shot I want to take and hope for the best.

I've done photoshoots that I thought "could have been better", or were "not my best work", and everyone loves it and goes crazy about it anyways. - AND I've also done shoots I thought were my absolute best works and seemingly very few people engage.

I've never had a "target audience". I've always shot for myself and also clients (especially 2015-2019 when I was mostly a portrait service provider). I get a vision/idea and then I try my best to make it a reality.

My first photoshoot priority is to make sure that everyone has a fun time and we make some great memories from the project. If the photos turn out bad but everyone had fun and wants to work together again -we won!

When I'm old I want to look back and say "I/we did this" and "I/we lived". I've always hoped that my work would also inspire anyone who views it to go out and live their best life as well.

I'm very thankful to be able to do what I love for a career. I'm thankful that there are some people who like what I'm doing and are willing to work with me and support the continuation of.

The process for me is its own reward. I’ve always said “the best part about being a t33f photographer is not the t33f but the people that you meet”. I’m thankful for 2025 and excited for 2026!
